教学程序:
I.热身复习
教师与学生边说Module 10 Unit 2的Don't jump on the bed,边做动作。为学生创造愉快的英语学习氛围。
II.任务呈现与课文导入
The teacher says: Today Tom and Ms Smart were on their way to the school.Ms Smart told Tom what he should and shouldn’t do. But when Mr Smart said goodbye to her friend ,a funny thing happened to them . Let’s see what happened to them.
III.课文教学
1.学习新词。出示抽认卡,示范发音。
单词: walk,road,dangerous,cross,hold,talk,hurry,take,right,child,sorry
词组: walk in the road ,cross the road, hold my hand, in a hurry, say hello to, take the right child
利用这些词汇,分两组竞猜,以正确率高低来决定胜负,完成运用任务 1。
2. SB活动 1
1) 用多媒体出示问题,播放录音,让学生带着问题去听录音,目的是让学生认真听,初步理解对话内容。
a.Who are they?
b.What shouldn't Tom do?
c.What should Tom do when crossing the road?
d.Who are the woman and the girl?
e.What should Tom say to his mother's friend?
f.Why can't Ms Smart talk?
g.What does Tom say to Ms Smart?
h.What does Ms Smart do?
2) 再放录音,此次要求学生边听边读,仔细模仿录音中的读音,然后回答问题。可以小组竞答的方式完成此任务。
3) 让学生二人组合分角色朗读,在熟读的前提下进行表演。评选“最佳合作奖”,完成运用任务2.
IV. 任务完成
1. 完成AB练习1
Have the students listen to the tape carefully,then try to write the missing words.把全班同学分成4--5个小组,以小组合作的形式完成此练习,务必使每个学生都有读单词的机会。
2. 拓展练习
Get two large pieces of paper.On one I write ‘should’and on the other one I write ‘shouldn’t’.Then place them on the left and right side of the blackboard.
Now I’m going to make statements and the students have to point to the appropriate words and say the whole sentences.
Examples:
T: play on the road.
Ss: (point to “shouldn’t”) We shouldn’t play on the road.
T: wash the hands before the dinner.
Ss: (point to “should”) We should wash the hands before the dinner.
I’ll give a lot of examples. Then have the students continue the activity in pairs.
a. read in bed
b.eat more fruit and less meat
c. do eye exercises every day
d. argue with friends.
