 Unit 2 A new house

一、教学要求

1、四会单词和词组live, bedroom, study, large, under, behind, door

2、四会句型: What’s in/on/under/behind/…? There’s a/anin/on/

under/behind/… There are somein/on/under/behind/… There isn’t a/an There aren’t any

3、三会单词:parent, bathroom, kitchen, dining-room, sitting-room, world, wall, telephone, sofa, lamp, mouse.

4、三会日常交际用语: They like the … very much. I live in a new house now.

   Here is a/an … for you. Here are some … for you.

5、了解元音字母a在单词中的读音。

6、会唱歌曲 Do you like my house?

二、单元教材分析

    本单元情景对话主要内容是谈论“家庭设施”,通过  介绍新居内的情况,让学生学习有关“家庭设施”的词汇。4B Unit8已经学过What’s in…There’s a/an … There are some这样的句型,本课所学的句型是在此基础上对上的进一步学习和巩固。本单元还学习一些新的介词,如underbehind等。学生掌握了这些介词,在描述场景时语言将更丰富。

Step 2 Presentation and pratice

  S: There’s a chair.  There are some school bags.

  教单词under Make phrases. under the

2 Let the students put … under the … and ask questions.

  For example: What’s under the pencil box/English book?

  Others answer the questions.

3 Practice and check.

4 同法教单词behind

5 Play a game.

  一支钢笔一个铅笔盒教师教钢笔摆放在不同位置学生快速反应说介词然后教师说学生摆放也可让学生说

6 实物投影出示一空房间图逐一将小图片放入房间内

教单词bed

  T: What’s near the bed?

7 Look at the picture and practice in pairs.

Step 3 Listen, read and say/ Look and say

1 Listen and read the words of Part B.

2 出示C部分图4

  T: What’ behind the door? There are some umbrellas.

  教单词umbrellaan umbrella, some umbrellas

  Ask and answer in pairs.

3 Show the other pictures and choose one to practice in pairs.

Step 4 Consolidation

情景:你家即将装修房子,爸爸妈妈让你亲自动手,设计一间你自己喜欢的卧室。

1、学生画设计图。

2、相互交流。

3、请学生带设计图到前面,与全班同学一起交流。

4、评选最佳设计师。

2 T asks questions and Ss answer them.

  What’s in the classroom? How many … are there? What’s in/on/under/behind … ? Is there/Are there … ?

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1 T: Is there a clock in the classroom?    S: Yes, there is.

  T: What’s the time, please?             S: It’s …

  T: Shall we play football?               S: …

  T: Is there a football?                  S: …

  T: There isn’t a football.  Here is a football for you. Let’s go.

  板书There isn’t a …  Here is a … for you.

  Read the sentences.

2 T: Now I’m thirsty. There isn’t a cup of tea.( tea是不可数名词教师说这个句子时强调a cup of tea )

  提示学生回答Here’s a cup of tea for you.

  T: I’m hungry. There isn’t a hamburger.

3 Practice in pairs.

4 出示D部分图12Ss choose one to practice. Check the answers.

  Discuss in four.

9 每组一名学生上前汇报。

Step 3 Consolidation

 1 T: It’s time to draw again. What shall we draw? I think your bedroom is very nice. So let’s draw it. If you don’t have any crayons, you may stand up and say ‘There aren’t any crayons’ . I think the others will help you. Ok, let’s start.

   开始画。

  T: There isn’t a pencil. Who can help me?

   Ss: Here’s a pencil for you.

   T: Thank you.
