二、单元教材分析

教材编写者有意识地在第一单元安排了“确认物品”这一语言功能项目，并在词汇教学中主要选取了文具类单词。教师应把握教材地这一意图，尽量创设真实、自然的情景，给学生“学以致用”的亲切感。

Look, read and write是本册新增的单词教学板块，要求学生四会掌握。该板块中的单词有的在Book 3A中已经出现过，有的则是Book 3A Look and learn中的新授单词，学生已经能听得懂并会说这些单词。教师可以利用图片、实物或其他直观教具帮助学生复习单词，然后引导学生正确拼写、书写单词。在Book 3A中学生已经掌握了26个英语字母的读音和书写，从本册起，将慢慢过渡但单词的听、说、读、写。在开始阶段，教师还可以在黑板上示范单词的正确书写方式，再让学生跟着写。此外，部分单词已经由二会提升至四会要求，有些学生可能不易完全掌握，教师可以让学生有一个适应过程，多采用生动、有趣的教学方式，消除学生的顾虑，让他们感受到学习英语的乐趣，从而主动学习，提高学习效益。

3、 能使用礼貌用语 Excuse me.

六、教学过程

Step 1 Free talk:

1. Free talk:

1. 师生用Good morning/afternoon. How are you?互相问候。
2. 引导学生用 What's your name?互问姓名，练习“what's”。
3. 出示本课的人物图片，示范：This is Yang Ling. That's Gao Shan.

出示水果类图片， 引导学生用This is a... That's a ... It's a...造句。

Step 2 Presentation and practice:

1. 出示文具类图片（pen, book等学过的单词）

让学生造句：This is a... That's a... It's a...

2. 出示一只书包

T: What's this?  T: It's a school bag.

出示单词 a school bag 并领读(要求拼会拼写单词)

T: What's this in English?

出示词组 in English 并领读(要求拼会拼写单词)

T：What's this in English?

同法教其它文具类单词(a crayon, a tape, a knife)，并板书

3. T：（放一支蜡笔在讲台上，走远一点）

T: What's that in English?

帮助区分this, that 的用法。

4. 某学生拿一物品在远处

T: Excuse me, xxx. What’s that in English?

T: Thank you.  出示 excuse me 并领读, 解释其用法，表示打扰别人。

重复对话，引出Oh, I see.

5. 出示本课所学的文具、玩具单词，师生问答练习。

A: Excuse me, what's this/ that in English?

B: It's a ...
A: Thank you./ Oh, I see.
T：Now, ask and answer in pairs.
S: 同桌操练句型。

Step 3  Look and say：

1. 第一幅图：小女孩指着自己手里订书机好奇地问男孩。

A: What’s this in English?

B: It's a stapler.

2、 第二幅图，小女孩指着远处桌子上形状有些特殊地削笔器问小男孩。

 A: What’s that in English?/ What’s that on the desk?

B: It's a pencil sharpener.

3.    第三幅图，小女孩指着近处椅子上的一本故事书问男孩。

A: What’s this in English?/ What’s this on the chair?

B: It's a storybook.

4. 第四幅图，小女孩指着稍远处的玩具小火车问男孩。

 A: What’s that in English?

B: It's a toy train.

Step 4  Consolidation

1.  Listen to the tape and repeat.

2.  Play a game: " Magic ears”

游戏规则：教师说本课单词，不发出声音，仅让学生看口型，学生根据教师口型猜测是什么单词。Go hunting 。

7. 作业设计

1：跟磁带熟读新单词。

2：操练C部分句型。

3：预习课文。

游戏规则：同桌两人游戏，一人将学过的物品藏入书包，另一人蒙眼触摸，用句型“What's  this ? It's a..."问答。

Step 3  Fun house

1. listen and circle
先让学生看图，用What's this / that in English ? It's a ,.. 句型来操练。
然后听录音，圈图片。
2、Play a game游戏规则：教师出示单词图片的一部分，让学生猜测是什么。
运用句型“What's this/ that in English? It's a..."
3.   Listen to the song .

   Sing a song “ABC song!”

教唱英文歌曲，旨在激发兴趣，培养语感。教唱时教师不要强求一步到位，注意教学的反复性和趣味性。

7. 作业设计

1、能熟练地运用新句型进行对话。

2、熟读新单词并能运用。

3、背诵课文。
